Getting There

Train
From the center of Lisbon, head to the Rossio Station ('Estação do Rossio'). You can either walk or take the Metro to the Rossio stop (Green Line). Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Cascais. The train ride to Cascais takes about 40 minutes and offers stunning views of the coastline. Upon arrival at Cascais station, exit and follow the signs to Tamariz Beach, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away. Head towards the coastline, and you’ll see the beach ahead.

From central Lisbon, take the bus number 405 from Praça da Figueira to Cascais. The bus ride takes around 50 minutes. Upon arriving in Cascais, follow the signs towards the beachfront. Tamariz Beach is just a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5-10 minutes away. You can walk along the promenade to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Tram
While there is no direct tram route to Tamariz Beach, you can take Tram 28 from Martim Moniz to the end of the line at Campo de Ourique. From there, transfer to bus number 403 towards Cascais. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Cascais bus stop and walk about 10 minutes towards the beach.

If you are staying in Cascais, you can enjoy a scenic walk along the coast to Tamariz Beach. From the Cascais marina, walk east along the promenade. The walk takes about 15-20 minutes and provides beautiful views of the ocean. Just follow the path, and you'll arrive at Tamariz Beach.
