Walking
From Chiado, head to the Praça Luís de Camões. From there, walk towards the street Rua do Carmo. Continue on Rua do Carmo until you reach Largo do Carmo. Chafariz do Carmo is located at Largo do Carmo 4, right in the square. The walk is approximately 10 minutes.
Metro
If you are close to the Baixa-Chiado Metro Station, take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the next stop, which is Rossio. From Rossio, walk to Rua do Carmo and continue to Largo do Carmo. The total travel time including walking is around 15 minutes. Note that a single metro ticket costs €1.50.
Tram
From Chiado, you can catch Tram 28 at the nearest stop. Ride the tram until you reach the stop at Largo do Carmo. The tram ride will take about 5-10 minutes, and the fare is €3.00.
