If you are driving to Miradouro da Tabaiba, start from the city of Funchal. Head northeast on Avenida do Mar e das Comunidades Madeirenses (VR1) towards Estrada Monumental. Continue on VR1 for approximately 5 km. Take the exit towards Monte and follow the signs for Monte. Once you reach Monte, take the direction towards Caminho do Lombo do Tanque. The observation deck is located at the end of the road, and there is parking available nearby. Note that parking may incur a small fee depending on the area.
