Walking
From the center of Ponte de Lima, make your way to the main square (Praça da República). Once there, head southeast on Rua da Igreja, which will take you towards the river. Continue straight until you reach the bridge (Ponte Romana). Cross the bridge and follow the road to the left (N101). Stay on this road for about 1.5 km until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, you can catch a bus to Braga. Confirm with the local bus schedule for exact timings.
Bus
At the Ponte de Lima bus station, purchase a ticket to Braga. Buses to Braga typically depart every hour. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Braga, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, walk straight down Av. da Liberdade until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Av. Central. Continue walking straight for about 1 km, and you will find the Congregados Basilica on your right at Av. Central 98.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Ponte de Lima to Braga. Simply flag down a taxi or request one via a local taxi service. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Braga, the driver can drop you off directly at Congregados Basilica, located at Av. Central 98.
