Walking
From the Ponte de Lima town center, head southeast towards Rua do Comércio. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Praça da República. From there, follow the signs to the bus terminal, which is located at Av. dos Faleiros. Once at the bus terminal, take a bus to Guimarães. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving in Guimarães, exit the bus station and walk towards the city center. Head towards Largo da Oliveira, which is a short 10-minute walk. Once you reach Largo da Oliveira, Padrão do Salado will be on your left at number 6.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Ponte de Lima. Start your ride by heading southeast towards the main road, then follow the cycling routes that lead towards Guimarães. The route is approximately 15 km and will take about 1 hour. Upon arriving in Guimarães, park your bicycle at the designated bike racks near Largo da Oliveira. Once parked, walk to 6, Largo da Oliveira, where the Padrão do Salado is located.
Public Transport
Take a local bus from Ponte de Lima to Guimarães. Buses leave regularly from the Ponte de Lima bus terminal located at Av. dos Faleiros. Purchase a ticket from the ticket counter or on the bus. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Guimarães bus station, exit and walk towards the city center, following the signs to Largo da Oliveira. It is about a 10-minute walk to reach Padrão do Salado at 6, Largo da Oliveira.
