    From the center of Ponte de Lima, head southeast toward the main street, Avenida da Liberdade. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Rua da Praça, which will lead you toward the river. Cross the bridge, Ponte de Lima, and continue straight. After crossing, follow the road signs toward Valença. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see signs for Fortaleza de Valença on your left. Walk up to R. Conselheiro Lopes da Silva, and you will find the Portas do Meio entrance.

    From the main bus station in Ponte de Lima, take the bus heading towards Valença. Buses run frequently, and tickets can be purchased at the station. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Valença, get off at the stop closest to the town center.
