Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near the city center, head to the nearest metro station, which is typically São Bento or Aliados. Take the Metro Line D (Yellow Line) towards Hospital de São João. Get off at the 'Casa da Música' station. From there, exit the station and walk north along Avenida da Boavista until you reach the intersection with Avenida do Brasil. Turn right onto Avenida do Brasil and continue walking until you arrive at Pérgola da Nevogilde located at number 694.

• Bus

  Locate the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 200 or 204 from various locations in Porto. If you're starting from the city center, you can catch the bus at Avenida dos Aliados. Get off at the stop 'Praia da Luz' (which is the closest stop to Pérgola da Nevogilde). After disembarking, walk back along Avenida do Brasil for about 5 minutes until you reach number 694, where the Pérgola da Nevogilde is located.

• Walking

  If you're staying near the waterfront area, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Pérgola da Nevogilde. Start at the Ribeira district and walk along the Douro River towards the Dom Luís I Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue along the riverside until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Montevideu. Turn left and walk up Avenida de Montevideu until you reach Avenida do Brasil. Turn right onto Avenida do Brasil and walk until you find number 694, where Pérgola da Nevogilde is situated.

• Tram

  From the city center, you can take the historic Tram Line 1 that runs along the river. Get on the tram near the Ribeira area and ride it to the end of the line at Passeio Alegre. After disembarking, walk east along the riverside promenade until you reach Avenida de Montevideu. Turn right on Avenida de Montevideu and continue until you reach Avenida do Brasil. Turn left on Avenida do Brasil and walk to number 694 to arrive at Pérgola da Nevogilde.
