From the main town of Seia, take the N231 road heading towards the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. After about 15 km, you will reach the entrance to the park. Continue on the N339 road for about 8 km until you reach a junction. Turn left onto the N339-1 road. Follow this road for approximately 3 km until you see signs for Laguinho dos Frades. There is a small parking area near the lagoon. Please note that parking may incur a small fee (around €2) depending on the season.

If you are using public transport, take a bus from Seia to Manteigas, which operates several times a day (check local schedules for precise times).
