From the Setúbal city center, walk to the bus station at Terminal Rodoviário de Setúbal. Take the bus line 503 towards Lisbon (Lisboa). The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sete Rios bus terminal in Lisbon, exit the terminal and look for the metro station. Take the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at the Marques de Pombal station and transfer to the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) towards Rato. Get off at the Rato station, then walk approximately 10 minutes to the National Museum of Ancient Art located at R. das Janelas Verdes.

Walk to the Setúbal train station, which is about 10-15 minutes from the city center. Board a train heading to Lisbon (Cais do Sodré). The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cais do Sodré station in Lisbon, exit and take a short walk to the Cais do Sodré metro station. Take the Green Line (Linha Verde) towards Telheiras and switch at the Baixa-Chiado station to the Blue Line (Linha Azul) towards Santa Apolónia. Get off at Marques de Pombal and transfer to the Yellow Line (Linha Amarela) towards Rato. Get off at Rato station and walk 10 minutes to reach the National Museum of Ancient Art at R. das Janelas Verdes.
