    From the center of Tomar, head southeast on Rua da Liberdade towards Praça da República. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Praça da República. From there, take a left onto Rua Serpa Pinto and walk straight until you reach the train station, Estação de Tomar. At the train station, take a train towards Alcobaça. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Alcobaça station, exit and walk straight along Avenida da Liberdade until you reach Praça 25 de Abril. The Monastery of Alcobaça will be located on your right.

    From Tomar, go to the bus station located near the train station. Look for the bus service that goes to Alcobaça. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Alcobaça, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk towards Praça 25 de Abril, which is only a few minutes away. The Monastery of Alcobaça will be visible as you enter the square.
