If you are in the center of Viana do Castelo, start at the Praça da República, which is a central square. From there, head southeast towards Rua da Bandeira. Walk along Rua da Bandeira until you reach the intersection with Rua de São Paulo. Turn left onto Rua de São Paulo and continue until you hit the main road. Cross over to the other side where you'll find a pedestrian walkway. Continue straight until you reach Praça da Erva.
