From the center of Viana do Castelo, head east on Rua Manuel Espregueira toward Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach Praça da República. From the square, take the exit towards Rua da Liberdade. Walk straight for 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Rua da Matriz. Turn left onto Rua da Matriz and continue for about 200 meters. The Igreja matriz de Santa Maria dos Anjos/Nossa Senhora da Assunção will be on your left at number 14.

Take the local bus service from Viana do Castelo to Ponte de Lima. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Viana do Castelo. Once you arrive in Ponte de Lima, exit the bus terminal and walk straight for about 500 meters along Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Rua da Matriz. Continue walking for 300 meters and you will find the Igreja matriz de Santa Maria dos Anjos/Nossa Senhora da Assunção on your right at number 14.
