Walking
From the center of Viana do Castelo, head south on Avenida de Cabo Verde towards Rua da Liberdade. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenida 5 de Outubro. Turn right onto Avenida 5 de Outubro and walk straight until you see the bus station on your left. This is where you need to catch a bus to Tui. Make sure to take the bus that is heading towards Valença. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.

Once you arrive at the bus station, purchase a ticket for Valença. Boards the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. Keep an eye on the stops; you will pass by several beautiful landscapes. Get off at the Valença bus station. From there, head southwest on Avenida de São Teotónio towards N-551. Follow the road signs directing you to Ponte Rodo-Ferroviária de Valença, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
