Getting There

Walking
From the center of Viana do Castelo, walk towards the Praça da República. This central square is easily recognizable and features beautiful architecture. From there, head towards the Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra, which runs along the river. Continue walking along this avenue until you reach the landmark of the Cais do Pescador (Fisherman's Wharf). Once you reach the wharf, turn left and continue towards the waterfront. You will see the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Keep walking along the waterfront until you reach the end of the pier.
