Walking
From the center of Viseu, head towards Rua Direita and walk straight until you reach the Praça do Rossio. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Avenida da Europa. Turn left onto Avenida da Europa and keep walking straight. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at the bus station. From there, take the bus to Tomar, which is clearly marked. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Tomar, walk towards the center where you will find Praça da República, a large square surrounded by beautiful buildings.

Start at the Viseu bus station located at Avenida da Europa. Look for the bus service that goes to Tomar, which should be clearly indicated. Purchase your ticket at the kiosk or on the bus. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic route as it takes about 30-40 minutes to reach Tomar. Upon arriving at Tomar's bus terminal, exit the bus and walk straight ahead toward the main square, Praça da República, which is just a short 5-minute walk.
