Getting There

Car
If you are starting from Arecibo Observatory, head south on PR-2. Continue on PR-2 for about 12 miles until you reach the exit for PR-119. Take the exit towards PR-119 and turn right onto PR-119. Follow PR-119 for approximately 4 miles. As you approach the Guajataca Lake area, look for signs directing you to Guajataca Lake. The lake will be on your right. There is parking available near the lake.

Public Transportation
From Arecibo Observatory, you can take a local bus to the town center of Arecibo. Once in the town center, look for the bus station where you can find buses heading towards Quebradillas. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Guajataca Lake. The bus ride may take about 30-45 minutes. After getting off, you may have a short walk to the lake entrance, which is well marked.
