Bus
From the Arecibo terminal, take the bus heading to Jayuya. Ask the driver to drop you off at Carretera 144. Once you get off, walk along Carretera 144 for about 2 kilometers. You will see signs leading to La Piedra Escrita on your left. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance.
Walking
If you are near the Arecibo Observatory, you can walk towards La Piedra Escrita. Head west on Route 625 towards Carretera 144. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Carretera 144. Turn left on Carretera 144 and walk for approximately 3 kilometers. Look for signs indicating La Piedra Escrita along the way.
Taxi
You can easily catch a taxi from any point in Arecibo. Just tell the driver to take you to La Piedra Escrita located at Carretera 144, Km. 7.3. It’s a well-known tourist attraction, so they should know the place. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
