Getting There

If you are driving, start at the El Yunque Visitor Center. Head southeast on PR-191 and follow the signs for 'El Yunque National Forest'. Continue on PR-191 for approximately 4 miles until you reach the El Yunque circle road. From there, take a left onto PR-186. After about 2 miles, you will see the sign for El Toro Peak trailhead on your left. Park in the designated area. Note that parking in the forest may incur a fee, typically around $5.
