From San Juan, take Route 26 towards Carolina. Merge onto Route 3 towards Canóvanas. Follow Route 3 until you reach the entrance to El Yunque National Forest. Continue on Route 191 inside the forest. After approximately 6 miles, look for a small parking area on your right with a trailhead that leads to Los Pilones Waterfall.

Take a public bus or taxi from San Juan to Canóvanas. Once in Canóvanas, you may need to hire a taxi to take you to the entrance of El Yunque National Forest. After entering the park, take Route 191 for about 6 miles until you reach the parking area for Los Pilones Waterfall. Be sure to confirm with the taxi driver, as some may not be familiar with the exact location.
