Car
If you are driving from any point within the Caribbean National Forest, head southeast on PR-191 until you reach the junction with PR-3. Merge onto PR-3 South towards Humacao. Continue on PR-3 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the exit for PR-924. Take the exit and follow PR-924 for about 1 mile until you arrive at the entrance to Humacao Nature Preserve, located at 562H+753, Park Entrance Road, Punta Santiago, 00791. Look for signs indicating the preserve entrance.

To reach Humacao Nature Preserve using public transportation, you can take a bus from the nearest major town, like Fajardo or Bayamón, to Humacao. The bus station in Humacao is located near PR-3. From there, you will need to catch a local taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to the preserve, which is approximately 5 miles away. Ensure to confirm the fare with the driver as it may vary.

For the more adventurous, biking is also an option. From the Caribbean National Forest, follow PR-191 southeast until you reach PR-3. Take PR-3 South and then PR-924. The roads are generally safe, but it is advisable to wear appropriate safety gear and be cautious of traffic. The ride is about 15 miles total and may take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your pace.
