Getting There

  • Boat

    From Culebra, take a ferry to Ceiba. The ferry terminal in Culebra is located near the main square, along the waterfront. Check the ferry schedule and purchase your ticket. Once you arrive at the Ceiba ferry terminal, you can either walk or take a taxi to reach Charco Frío, which is approximately 10 kilometers away.

  • Taxi

    After arriving at the Ceiba ferry terminal, you can hire a taxi directly outside the terminal. Inform the driver that you want to go to Charco Frío, located at KM 10.0 PR-971. The drive should take around 15-20 minutes. Ensure you have the address handy for reference.

  • Walking

    If you prefer walking after arriving at the Ceiba ferry terminal, head south on PR-3. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto PR-971. Continue walking along PR-971 for about 8 kilometers until you reach Charco Frío at KM 10.0. Note that this is a long walk and may take over an hour, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
