If you are traveling by car within El Yunque National Forest, head towards PR-191. From the main entrance of the forest, drive on PR-191 and follow the signs for Torre Mount Britton. After approximately 5 miles, look for the turn to PR-9938. Turn onto PR-9938 and continue for about 1 mile. You will see the Torre Mount Britton Trailhead parking area on your left, marked by a sign. Please note that there may be a parking fee, typically around $5, depending on the time of year.

Public transport options are limited in El Yunque National Forest. However, if you are starting from San Juan, you can take a combination of a public bus (Route 53) to Río Grande and then a taxi or rideshare service to the Torre Mount Britton Trailhead. From the bus stop in Río Grande, request a ride to the coordinates 76X5+FH7, PR-9938, which is approximately a 10-minute drive away. Expect to pay around $15-$25 for the taxi or rideshare, depending on the service.
