From the center of Isabela, head towards PR-466. You can start at Plaza de Isabela, which is a popular meeting point. Walk along Calle José de Diego heading towards the east until you reach PR-2. Cross PR-2 and continue straight onto PR-466. Follow PR-466 for about 1.5 km (approximately 20-25 minutes of walking). You will see signs for Playa Montones along the way. The beach entrance is located on your left.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Plaza de Isabela and ride towards PR-466. Follow the same path as the walking directions, but you will enjoy a quicker ride. The distance is about 1.5 km, which should take around 10 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Playa Montones as you approach.

From Isabela, you can take the local bus service that heads towards Aguadilla. Check the local bus schedule for routes that pass through PR-466. Ask the driver to drop you off near Playa Montones.
