Once on Route 3, walk towards the east, which should take you closer to the beach. Look for signs directing you to Balneario Luquillo. As you approach the beach area, you will see a parking lot on your left, which means you are getting close. Continue walking until you reach the entrance of Balneario Luquillo.

From any point in Luquillo, locate the nearest bus stop on Route 3. The public bus service (AMA) operates a route that stops at Balneario Luquillo. Board the bus heading towards Fajardo, and inform the driver that you want to get off at Balneario Luquillo. The bus will take you directly to the beach area, where you will see the entrance to the beach upon disembarking. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Luquillo. Once you have your bike, head towards Route 3 (Carretera 3) and ride east.
