Start from the center of Luquillo, perhaps from the Luquillo Beach area or a local shop. Head south on Route 3 (Carretera 3) until you reach the intersection with PR-983. This route is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20-25 minutes on foot. Once you reach PR-983, turn left (east) and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will see signs for Las Pailas, which is located on your right. The entrance is hard to miss, and you will hear the sound of water as you approach.

From your location in Luquillo, find a local bus stop serving the public transport system. Board a bus that heads towards Fajardo or any bus that stops at PR-983. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Las Pailas. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you disembark, walk a short distance to the entrance of Las Pailas, which is clearly marked.
