Getting there

Car Rental

If you've rented a car, start from the main town of Isabel Segunda. Head southeast on PR-201 towards the airport area. Continue straight on PR-201, then make a right onto PR-200. Follow PR-200 for about 5 miles, then turn left onto a dirt road signposted for Playa Blaydin. Drive down the dirt road until you reach the beach parking area. Make sure to have cash for parking fees, which may be around $5.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From Isabel Segunda, take the public bus (known as 'guagua') heading towards the beaches. This bus will typically stop near Playa Blaydin. Confirm with the driver that this is your destination before boarding. The fare is usually around $2. Once you get off, walk a short distance towards the beach entrance.

Bicycle Rental

If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Isabel Segunda. Head southeast on PR-201, then turn right onto PR-200. It's about a 5-mile ride to the dirt road leading to Playa Blaydin. This option is great for enjoying the scenery but be prepared for some rough terrain as you approach the beach.

Walking from Nearby Beaches

If you are already at a nearby beach, such as Playa Grande, you can walk to Playa Blaydin. Head towards the main road and follow the path that leads down towards the beach. It’s approximately a 15-20 minute walk along the coastline, but be cautious as some paths may be rocky.
