To reach Cayos de la Cordillera Nature Reserve from any location in Vieques, you can hire a taxi. Simply flag down a taxi or ask your hotel to call one for you. Once in the taxi, tell the driver you want to go to Fajardo. The driver will take you to the ferry terminal in Ceiba, where you can catch a ferry to Fajardo. Once you arrive in Fajardo, the nature reserve is a short taxi ride away. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Vieques. Start by heading towards the ferry terminal in Isabel Segunda and take a ferry to Ceiba. Once you arrive in Ceiba, you can cycle towards Fajardo. Follow the main road signs towards Fajardo, and you will eventually reach the area where Cayos de la Cordillera Nature Reserve is located. It’s advisable to have a map or GPS on your phone to navigate the route.

Walking
Walking directly to Cayos de la Cordillera Nature Reserve from Vieques is not feasible due to the water barrier. However, if you are already in Fajardo, you can walk to the reserve. From the main town center of Fajardo, head southwest on Route 3 (Calle A). Follow the signs for the nature reserve. It will be a longer walk, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
