If you are driving from San Juan, take Route 22 West towards Arecibo. Continue on Route 22 until you reach the exit for Route 10 towards Ciales. Once on Route 10, you will follow the signs to Ciales. After about 30 minutes, turn onto Route 149, which will take you directly into Ciales. Puerto Rico Island is located near the center of Ciales, and you can use GPS coordinates (18.255, -66.467) for precise navigation.

To reach Ciales via public transportation, start by taking a bus from San Juan to Arecibo. The bus terminal in San Juan is located at Terminal de Viejo San Juan. Once you reach Arecibo, transfer to a local bus (Guaguas) that goes to Ciales. Make sure to check the schedule for the local bus as it may not run frequently. The total travel time can take 2-3 hours depending on connections.
