Car
From any point in Arcadia Management Area, head southwest on Route 102 (Burlingame Road) towards Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 South and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 3 for Route 138 East toward Newport. Follow Route 138 for about 5 miles, which will take you into Newport. Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue, and The Elms will be located on your left at 367 Bellevue Ave. Parking is available on-site, and there may be a parking fee.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will need to take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus. From Arcadia Management Area, the nearest bus stop is in the town of Richmond. Catch the 66 or 67 bus towards Newport. The bus will drop you off at the Newport Gateway Center. From the Gateway Center, you can either take another RIPTA bus (Route 60) towards Bellevue Avenue or walk approximately 1.5 miles straight down America's Cup Avenue, and then turn left onto Bellevue Avenue. The Elms will be at 367 Bellevue Ave. Please check the RIPTA schedule for bus timings and potential costs.
