From anywhere in Blackstone Valley, head towards Route 295 South. Take exit 4B for Route 95 South towards New York City. Continue on I-95 South for approximately 10 miles, then take exit 15 for Route 195 East toward East Providence. After about 3 miles, take exit 6 for Broad Street. Follow Broad Street until you reach Riverside, RI. From Broad Street, turn onto Riverside Avenue and follow it until you reach the shore. The Pomham Rocks Lighthouse is located about 1.5 miles offshore in the Providence River, so parking at a nearby waterfront location like the Riverside Park will provide the best view.
Public Transportation
To reach Pomham Rocks Lighthouse via public transportation, take the RIPTA bus (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority) Route 60 from Providence. Get off at the stop on Riverside Avenue. From there, you can walk to Riverside Park to catch a glimpse of the lighthouse approximately 1.5 miles offshore.
