Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Block Island Ferry terminal, exit the terminal and head south on Water Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Turn left onto Ocean Avenue, and follow it for about 0.6 miles. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. As you approach the coast, look for signs directing you toward Mansion Beach. Continue on Ocean Avenue until you reach the intersection with Mansion Road. Turn right onto Mansion Road, and walk about 0.3 miles. Mansion Beach will be on your left, just past the historic mansion.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near the ferry terminal. From the terminal, ride south on Water Street until you reach Ocean Avenue. Turn left on Ocean Avenue and cycle for about 0.6 miles. When you reach the intersection with Mansion Road, turn right. Continue down Mansion Road for approximately 0.3 miles until you see Mansion Beach on your left. Remember to be cautious of traffic and pedestrians along the way.
