    From anywhere in East Greenwich, walk to the nearest bus stop that serves the RIPTA bus service. Look for Bus Route 66, which goes to Providence. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at 'Kennedy Plaza' in downtown Providence. Once you disembark at Kennedy Plaza, transfer to Bus Route 42 or 1, which will take you towards College Hill. Get off at the stop closest to Brown University, which is located at 75 Waterman Street. From there, walk up Waterman Street towards the university entrance.

    Head to the nearest train station, which is the East Greenwich train station. Board a train heading towards Providence. The journey will take about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Providence train station, exit the station and walk towards the nearby bus stop. From there, take Bus Route 42 or 1 towards College Hill. Get off at the stop closest to Brown University, which is located at 75 Waterman Street. Walk up Waterman Street towards the university entrance.

    If you are near the center of East Greenwich, you can walk to the nearest bus stop or train station. For a longer walk, you could walk directly to Brown University. Start heading northwest on Main Street, then take a left onto Division Street. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront, and follow the waterfront path to the north until you reach the pedestrian bridge leading into Providence. Cross the bridge and continue onto South Water Street, then turn left onto College Street, which will lead you directly into the Brown University campus.
