Walking
If you are starting from the center of East Greenwich, head northwest on Main Street towards Division Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with US-1 (Post Road). Cross Post Road and continue north onto US-1. Keep walking straight, and you will eventually reach the bus stop for RIPTA Route 14 at the intersection of US-1 and Main Street. Take the bus towards Providence. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of US-44 and Waterman Street.

From the East Greenwich town center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Board the RIPTA Route 14 bus towards Providence. This route will take you through several stops in East Greenwich before heading into Providence. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and disembark at the stop closest to the US-44 intersection. Once you get off the bus, walk a short distance north on US-44 until you reach the Providence River Walk.
