Bus
From East Greenwich, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the RIPTA #60 bus towards Newport. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes and get off at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the #67 bus towards Ocean Drive and get off at the Ochre Point Ave stop. The Breakers will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at 44 Ochre Point Ave.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in East Greenwich. Head west on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and follow the road until you reach the signs for Newport.
