Getting There

  • Car

    From Napatree Point Conservation Area, head southeast toward Atlantic Ave. Turn left onto Atlantic Ave and drive for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Watch Hill Rd. Turn right onto Watch Hill Rd and continue for 1 mile. At the traffic circle, take the second exit onto Shore Rd. Follow Shore Rd, which will turn into Sandy Point Rd. Continue until you reach the Sandy Point Island entrance. Note that Sandy Point is accessible only by foot or small boat, so you will need to park in the designated areas near the entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, first take the bus to Westerly Train Station. From there, transfer to the local bus service that goes towards Watch Hill.
