    Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on Napatree Point Road toward Shore Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bay Street. Turn left onto Bay Street. Watch Hill Beach will be on your left at 151 Bay St, Westerly, RI 02891. The drive is approximately 1 mile and should take about 5 minutes depending on traffic.

    Public Transportation

    For public transportation, take a local bus service that operates in the Westerly area. You can catch a bus at the nearest bus stop to Napatree Point Conservation Area. Make sure to check the schedule for the local bus, as service may be limited. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Watch Hill. The bus will take you to a stop near Bay Street. From the bus stop, walk about 0.3 miles down Bay Street towards the beach. This walk should take approximately 7 minutes.

    If you are already in Napatree Point Conservation Area and prefer to walk to Watch Hill Beach, exit the conservation area and head towards Napatree Point Road. Walk south on Napatree Point Road until you reach the intersection with Shore Road. Turn left onto Shore Road and walk until you reach Bay Street. Turn right onto Bay Street, and you will find Watch Hill Beach on your left. The total walking distance is about 1 mile and will take approximately 20 minutes.
