Walking
Start in downtown Westerly, at the intersection of High Street and Main Street. Head east on High Street until you reach the intersection with Canal Street. Turn left onto Canal Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Pawcatuck River. Cross the river using the pedestrian bridge, which will take you into Pawcatuck. Once in Pawcatuck, walk straight on East Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Here, you will need to cross Route 1 carefully. After crossing, continue straight on East Main Street, which becomes Wall Street in Stonington, CT. Follow Wall Street for about 0.5 miles; the entrance to Dodge Paddock / Beal Preserve will be on your left shortly after you pass the intersection with North Water Street.

Begin at the Westerly Train Station. From the station, head west on Railroad Avenue until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn right onto High Street and continue until you reach Canal Street. Turn left onto Canal Street and ride straight to the pedestrian bridge over the Pawcatuck River. After crossing the bridge, continue on East Main Street in Pawcatuck until you arrive at Route 1. Carefully cross Route 1 and continue on East Main Street, which will become Wall Street in Stonington, CT. Follow Wall Street for about 0.5 miles, and you will find the entrance to Dodge Paddock / Beal Preserve on your left.
