If you are in the center of Narragansett, head towards the coast on Ocean Road. Follow Ocean Road north until you reach the intersection with Route 138. Turn left onto Route 138 and continue for approximately 5 miles. After passing through a roundabout, keep an eye out for Fort Adams Drive on your right. Turn onto Fort Adams Drive, and the entrance to Fort Adams State Park will be on your left. The walk should take around 1 hour and 15 minutes, providing you with beautiful seaside views along the way.

Begin at the Narragansett Town Hall bus stop. Take the RIPTA Route 67 bus towards Newport. The bus will take you directly to Newport, passing through several scenic areas. Alight at the stop for Fort Adams Drive. From there, walk down Fort Adams Drive for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the entrance to Fort Adams State Park. The total travel time using public transit is approximately 40-50 minutes, depending on bus schedules.

If you have a bike, start from Narragansett and take Ocean Road north. After about 4 miles, turn left onto Route 138. Continue for a short distance until you reach Fort Adams Drive.
