Walking
If you are in central Narragansett, head east on Narragansett Avenue towards South Pier Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ocean Road. Turn left onto Ocean Road and follow it for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several beautiful coastal views and local shops along the way. Once you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue, turn left, and Gooseberry Beach will be on your right at 130 Ocean Ave. The beach entrance is clearly marked.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Narragansett. Start by heading east on Narragansett Avenue, then turn left onto Ocean Road. Follow Ocean Road for approximately 1.5 miles, enjoying the views. When you arrive at the intersection with Ocean Avenue, make a left turn. Gooseberry Beach will be on your right at 130 Ocean Ave. There are bike racks available near the entrance of the beach.
Public Transportation
You can take the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus service. Board the 14 or 67 bus from the Narragansett Town Hall stop (located at 25 Fifth Ave). The bus will take you towards Newport. Get off at the 'Ocean Ave at Gooseberry Beach' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Gooseberry Beach, which is located at 130 Ocean Ave. The beach entrance is just a short distance from the bus stop.
