    If you're driving from Newport, head south on Route 138. Continue on Route 138 until you reach the junction with Route 24. Take Route 24 south, which will eventually merge into Route 1. Follow Route 1 until you reach the exit for Route 77 towards Little Compton. Follow Route 77 until you reach Little Compton. Once in Little Compton, turn onto Sakonnet Point Road. The Sakonnet Lighthouse is located on a small island at the end of the road. Please note, however, that access to the lighthouse itself is limited, as it's situated on private property.

    Public Transportation

    Using public transportation, you can take the RIPTA bus from Newport to Tiverton. From there, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Sakonnet Lighthouse as public transportation does not directly connect to the lighthouse.
