From downtown Providence, locate the nearest bus stop for the RIPTA (Rhode Island Public Transit Authority). Take the #60 bus towards Newport. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Newport, get off at the stop closest to 'Newport Gateway Center'. From there, transfer to the #67 bus that heads towards 'Ocean Drive'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Brenton Point State Park' stop. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop.
