If you are driving within Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, head towards the nearest main road, which is Route 1. Take Route 1 North and travel approximately 8 miles. Look for the signs leading to Groton, CT. Once you reach Groton, follow Route 1 to the intersection with Park Avenue. Turn onto Park Avenue, and you will find Fort Griswold Battlefield State Park at the intersection with Monument Street. There is parking available at the park.
