    From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, head northwest on Succotash Rd toward Point Judith Rd. Continue on Succotash Rd, then turn left onto Point Judith Rd. After about 4 miles, merge onto US-1 North via the ramp on the left. Continue on US-1 North for approximately 8 miles. Take the exit toward I-95 North/Providence and merge onto I-95 North. After about 10 miles, take exit 24 for RI-5 North toward Johnston. Continue on RI-5 North for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Hartford Ave. After a short drive, Snake Den State Park will be on your right at 2321 Hartford Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. Parking is available on-site. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

Take the Route 66 bus heading towards Wakefield. Transfer to Route 1 or Route 2 at the Wakefield Junction (approximately 30 minutes travel). Continue on the bus until you reach the Providence area. From there, take Route 54 heading towards Johnston. Get off at the nearest stop to Snake Den State Park, and walk approximately 0.5 miles to the park entrance at 2321 Hartford Ave. Ensure you check the bus schedules ahead of time as they may vary, and keep some change for bus fares, which typically cost around $2.00.
