Car
From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, head northwest on Succotash Rd toward Point Judith Rd. Continue on Succotash Rd, then turn left onto Point Judith Rd. After about 4 miles, merge onto US-1 North via the ramp on the left. Continue on US-1 North for approximately 8 miles. Take the exit toward I-95 North/Providence and merge onto I-95 North. After about 10 miles, take exit 24 for RI-5 North toward Johnston. Continue on RI-5 North for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Hartford Ave. After a short drive, Snake Den State Park will be on your right at 2321 Hartford Ave, Johnston, RI 02919. Parking is available on-site. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, you will need to first reach the nearest bus stop. Walk to the nearest Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus stop, which may involve a short walk of about 1 mile to the nearest Route 66 bus stop. Take the Route 66 bus heading towards Wakefield. Transfer to Route 1 or Route 2 at the Wakefield Junction (approximately 30 minutes travel). Continue on the bus until you reach the Providence area.
