From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, exit the refuge and turn left onto Succotash Road. Continue on Succotash Road until you reach the intersection with Route 1 (also known as Post Road). Turn left onto Route 1 South. Follow Route 1 South for approximately 3 miles until you reach the exit for Route 138 West. Take the exit and continue on Route 138 West for about 2 miles. Look for signs indicating 'West Kingston' and 'Great Swamp Monument Road.' Turn left onto Great Swamp Monument Road. After about half a mile, the Great Swamp Battle Monument will be on your right at 41 Great Swamp Monument Rd, West Kingston, RI 02892.
