  • Car

    From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, exit the refuge and turn left onto South Shore Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 North. After approximately 3 miles, take the exit for Route 138 West toward Kingston. Continue on Route 138 for about 4 miles, then take the exit for Great Neck Road. Turn left onto Great Neck Road and drive for about half a mile. The Great Swamp Management Area will be on your right at 309 Great Neck Rd, West Kingston, RI 02892.

    From Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, walk to the nearest bus stop on South Shore Road. Take the RIPTA bus route 66 towards Kingston. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 138. Transfer to bus route 15 towards West Kingston. Disembark at the stop nearest to Great Neck Road. From there, it is a short walk (about 0.5 miles) down Great Neck Road to reach the Great Swamp Management Area at 309 Great Neck Rd, West Kingston, RI 02892.
