If you're driving from the center of Washington County, head east on Route 1 (also known as the Kingstown Road) towards Newport. Take Exit 3 for Route 138 East towards Newport. Continue on Route 138 until you reach the intersection with Ocean Drive. Turn right onto Ocean Drive, and follow the road for about 2 miles. Brenton Point State Park will be on your left. Look for the park entrance sign. Parking is available on-site, which is free of charge.
