Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Westerly, head east on High Street towards the intersection with Canal Street. Continue straight on High Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. At the intersection, take a left onto Main Street and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. You will eventually cross over into Stonington, Connecticut. Keep walking until you reach 1 High St, Stonington, CT 06378, where the Stonington Lobster Trap Tree is located.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Westerly Town Hall located at 45 Broad Street. Head east on Broad Street toward High Street. Turn right onto High Street and continue for about 0.5 miles. Once you reach the intersection with Main Street, make a left. Continue on Main Street for approximately 1.5 miles, which will take you across the Connecticut state line into Stonington. The Lobster Trap Tree is located at 1 High St, Stonington, CT 06378. Make sure to ride safely and watch for traffic.

• Public Transit

  From the Westerly Train Station, board the Amtrak train heading toward New London. Get off at the Mystic station (about a 10-minute ride). From Mystic, you can catch the number 9 bus towards Stonington. Get off at the stop closest to High Street in Stonington, which is a short walk away from the Lobster Trap Tree located at 1 High St, Stonington, CT 06378. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for timing.
