    Bus

    From Westerly, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the R.I. Public Transit bus number 66 towards Newport. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Disembark at the Newport Gateway Center. From there, transfer to the Newport Trolley service that operates in the summer months or use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Ask the driver to take you to 85 Touro St, Newport, RI 02840.

    Bicycle

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Westerly. Start your journey by heading northwest on Main Street towards Route 1. Follow Route 1 North for about 12 miles until you reach Newport. Once in Newport, follow signs for downtown Newport and then turn onto Touro Street. The Touro Synagogue will be on your left at 85 Touro St.

    Walking

    If you are up for a long walk, start at the Westerly Train Station. Head south on Railroad Avenue, then turn left onto Main Street. Continue walking on Main Street until you reach the R.I. Public Transit bus stop. Take the bus to Newport as mentioned above. After arriving at the Newport Gateway Center, you can walk to Touro Synagogue by heading east on America’s Cup Avenue and then taking a left onto Touro Street. The synagogue will be located at 85 Touro St.
