Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Banat to the InterContinental AthéNéE Palace in Bucharest, take the A1 motorway towards Bucharest. The drive is approximately 2 hours, covering around 150 kilometers. Upon entering Bucharest, follow signs for the city center. You will eventually merge onto Calea Victoriei, a main thoroughfare. Continue on Calea Victoriei until you reach Strada Episcopiei, where the hotel is located. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

• Train

  To reach the hotel via train, first, take a train from one of the major stations in Banat, such as Timișoara or Arad, to Bucharest North Station (Gara de Nord). The journey typically takes about 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival at Bucharest North Station, you can either take a taxi, which will cost around 20-30 RON, or use public transport. If you choose public transport, take the Metro Line 1 from Gara de Nord to the Piata Universitatii station. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the hotel, heading south on Calea Universitatii and turning onto Strada Episcopiei.

• Bus

  For budget travelers, taking a bus from Banat to Bucharest is a viable option. Various bus companies offer services from cities like Timișoara and Arad to Bucharest's main bus terminal (Autogara Filaret). The bus ride takes about 2 to 3 hours and tickets cost between 40-70 RON. Once you arrive at the bus terminal, you can take a taxi to the hotel for approximately 25-35 RON or use public transport to reach the city center. If you opt for public transport, take tram line 1 or 10 to the Piata Universitatii stop, then walk south on Calea Universitatii to Strada Episcopiei.
