Car
If you are driving, head towards the city center of Brașov. From Piața Sfatului (the Council Square), take Strada Mureșenilor and continue onto Strada Gheorghe Barițiu. Follow the road until you reach number 34, where the Bastionul Fierarilor is located. There are parking options nearby, but be aware that some areas may require payment. Look for parking signs indicating 'Parcare cu plata'.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Bastionul Fierarilor by bus, find the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 20 or 21 from any central location in Brașov. Get off at the 'Teatrul Dramatic' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk. Head northeast on Strada Mureșenilor, then turn left onto Strada Gheorghe Barițiu. Continue walking until you reach number 34. The bus fare is approximately 2.5 RON.
Public Transportation - Tram
If you prefer to take the tram, board tram line 1 or 2 at any of the main tram stations in Brașov. Get off at the 'Gara' (Train Station) stop. From the tram stop, you can either walk (about 20 minutes) or take a short taxi ride. If walking, head southwest on Strada Hărmanului, then turn onto Strada Gheorghe Barițiu and continue to number 34. Tram tickets typically cost around 2.5 RON.
Walking
If you are already in the city center or staying nearby, walking to Bastionul Fierarilor is a pleasant option. From Piața Sfatului, take Strada Mureșenilor, and then turn left onto Strada Gheorghe Barițiu. The walk will take around 10-15 minutes. Be mindful of the cobbled streets, and enjoy the surrounding architecture as you make your way to the Bastion.
